October 8: Think Pink on Parade 11-4pm.
Benefit/Community Support: This event is hosted by Kim's Firecrackers in York. This is a benefit to support breast cancer awareness and all funds raised will be supporting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. There is an option to order a Think Pink on Parade T-Shirt for $8 and can be worn the day of the event. Participants that turn in a least $10 or more will be eligible to participate in the parade. I have pledge envelops at the desk if you are interested. There will be food available for purchase. They will also be having game and special highlights like think pink nail painting and face painting, a think pink ornament decorating contest that will be judged at noon, a performance area and many other activities for all ages. This event helps promote sportsmanship, new friendships and raising money for an awesome cause. I have a lot more detailed information at the desk if you are interested in going. Wendy does need to know ASAP if you are interested in attending. She would like as many people to participate for such a great cause. Her grandmother is a breast cancer survivor, so this is near and dear to her heart.
